The Appalachian Trail - all 2,200 miles of it - is the focus of Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium’s 2020 Challenge of the Year. And, since the facility is closed temporarily, we are moving this challenge to where you are - home!
All you have to do to join this challenge is start recording your walks, runs, biking or even swimming. Then, submit your mileage for credit. We will be sharing progress reports and what you send in on our Life at Home Facebook page. Please remember to practice safe social distancing if away from your home.
"Exercise is not ’work’ - it is another way to bond with friends, develop a competitive drive and give self-care," says Kolbie Elliott, Recreation Specialist II at the Natatorium. "I want you to see the importance fitness has on your life!" Keeping track of your mile count is a great daily and weekly reminder to stay healthy and active while at home.
All participants will receive a free t-shirt and be entered into a chance drawing to receive one FREE annual membership to the Natatorium for 2021.
