As we each do our part to minimize the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Community Waste Disposal and City of Allen remind you to help keep drivers safe. Here’s what you can do!

Please bag and tie all trash.

By doing this, you are helping ensure you, your family, your neighbors and your trash collectors are not in contact with potentially contaminated items.

Sanitize bulk items set out for removal (if possible).

Wiping down non-porous surfaces such as metal, glass and plastic helps minimize the potential spread of COVID-19.

Please sanitize cart handles before and after service.

Doing so helps minimize the potential spread to neighboring carts. Research suggests Coronavirus can live on hard, shiny surfaces for up to 72 hours.
