City of Allen offices and facilities are closed for the New Year holiday Friday, Jan. 1. Some facilities also have modified hours on Thursday, Dec. 31.

Thursday trash and recycling collection will occur as normal; Friday collection will slide to Saturday. Find your collection day. 

Allen Public Library closures

• Thursday, Dec. 31: Open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Friday, Jan. 1: CLOSED; no library materials due during this time
• Saturday, Jan. 2: Curbside service resumes 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Facility reopens Monday, Jan. 4

Allen Parks and Recreation closures
