If you have winter storm damage, submit your self reporting survey

If you suffered damages to your home or business during the recent winter weather, submit a Self Reporting Damage Survey to help provide information to FEMA and support efforts to obtain federal aid.

The State of Texas has asked the City of Allen to assist with a statewide damage assessment after the recent winter weather event. This assessment will provide the State further insight on any damages throughout the community. The survey results may result in the State of Texas and impacted counties qualifying for an Individual Assistance (IA) declaration from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

If assistance is authorized, property owners may directly receive aid from FEMA based on the level of damages and qualifications.

Reporting damage to the Texas Division of Emergency Management is a voluntary activity and does not substitute for reporting damage to an insurance agency. It does not guarantee disaster relief assistance.

The voluntary survey, available in both English and Spanish, can be accessed by visiting the Texas Disaster Impacts Self Reporting Tool.
