City of Allen offices and facilities are closed for the Memorial Day holiday Monday, May 31. Trash and recycling collection will slide to the next day; Friday collection will move to Saturday. Normal business hours resume Tuesday, June 1, including Allen Public Library, Allen Municipal Court and Allen Animal Services. 

Allen Parks and Recreation will adjust its facility hours as follows:

• Allen Senior Recreation Center – Closed
• Joe Farmer Recreation Center – Closed
• Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium – Open 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. 
• Ford Pool – Open 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• The Edge Skate Park – Open regular hours
• The Edge Visitor Center – Closed
