We celebrate the retirement of Sergeant Jon Felty after more than 21 years of service with City of Allen. He’s had a long and distinguishing career, performing in a variety of roles during his time with Allen Police Department (APD).

Jon began his career with APD on October 1, 1999. In February 2000, Jon transferred to the Community Relations Unit where he flourished as an officer and developed countless relationships with our residents, community leaders and business owners. While in Allen, Jon coordinated 42 Citizens Police Academy classes only missing the very first class offered by the department. More then 1,500 residents have completed the Citizens Police Academy.

Congratulations to Sergeant Jon Felty on a great career, and best wishes to you and your family in retirement.
