Allen Animal Services joins a monthlong Clear the Shelters initiative with adoption specials, discount pet services, educational events and more. Be sure to mark your calendar for free pet adoptions Sept. 13-19!

Animal Services events and appearances

  • Carter BloodCare Drive - noon to 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27
    Carter BloodCare Bus is onsite at Allen Animal Shelter. Donors receive voucher for a half-price pet adoption good for 3 months. Make an appointment
  • Check the Chip - Sept. 6-12
    Bring your pet so we can check his microchip! Confirm the chip is active, update contact information or learn about the chip manufacturer. Pet owners also can take advantage of half-price microchips ($10). Services for Allen residents only.
  • FREE Pet Adoptions at Allen Animal Shelter - Sept. 13-19
    If you find a fur-ever family member at our shelter, we’d love to see your first photos! Follow us on Instagram and tag us using #ClearTheSheltersAllen
  • Fall Festival at Allen Public Library - 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 18
    Animal Services staff is onsite with FREE pet adoptions. Event details
