The City held a Resident and Workday Committee joint meeting on Thursday, Sept. 30, to discuss your Neighborhood Workday. Based on feedback from the meeting, we selected Saturday, Nov. 6, as the event date. In case of a rainout, the alternative date is Saturday, Nov. 13.

The main workday project will be cleaning out the landscape beds, laying new dirt and mulch, and re-planting the entrance features at Hightrail Drive and Jupiter Road. We'll perform the work with help from Allen Parks and Recreation. However, based on the number of volunteers and comfort levels, it's possible we will have other projects adjacent to the pilot project site and around the neighborhood. Activities may include litter cleanup, tree trimming over sidewalks, etc.

Want to volunteer? Take our survey!

  • Volunteer Survey (Complete by noon on Oct. 22): This survey will help determine an estimated number of volunteers, comfort levels and available skills so that workday details can be finalized accordingly. Please complete the survey by noon on Friday, Oct. 22.

We have finalized the contract with a brick repair vendor, and repairs will be made soon! Expect repairs to be ongoing from now though Oct. 29. This will be the first stage of enhancements made to the Hightrail Drive and Jupiter Road entryway features followed by signage and landscape upgrades.

We appreciate all your efforts towards this project and look forward to making positive enhancements to these spaces Nov. 6! If you have any questions about the project, please contact Senior Planner, David Powell, by email or phone.
