October is almost over, but the Halloween inspired events are just getting started in Allen! Whether you seek an attraction for the kids or a unique social event for yourself, there’s something here for everyone.

Check out these October events

Trunk or Treat Drive-In Movie

Saturday, Oct. 23 at 6:30 p.m.
Decorate your vehicle and bring your favorite candy to pass out at our Trunk or Treat Drive-in Movie. Afterwards, enjoy a spooky film from the comfort of your vehicle! Registered participants receive a meal courtesy of Chick-fil-A.

Library After Dark: Mystery in Vegas (Home Edition Pickup)

Monday, Oct. 25 at 10 a.m.
There's a mystery to solve in 1960s Las Vegas! Round up your group and put on your detective hats to solve a series of logic puzzles and brain games from the comfort of your own home. One kit per team, please. Kit pickup is Monday, Oct. 25-Oct. 30. 

Trick or Treat at Allen Public Library

Friday, Oct. 29 from 10:15 – 10:45 a.m.
For ages 3 and up. Trick or treat your way around the Library! No registration required.

Library After Dark: Mystery in Vegas @ Ellen’s Cafe

Friday, Oct. 29 from 7 - 9 p.m.
There's a mystery to solve in 1960s Las Vegas! Round up your group and put on your detective hats to solve a series of logic puzzles and brain games. Registration is required; attendance is limited. Registration opens October 15.

Halloween Open Skate

Saturday, Oct. 30 from 11:45 a.m. - 1:45 p.m.
Get into the Halloween spirit at this open skate event. Festivities include a costume contest, raffle prizes and more! Those who dress in costumes receive a free skate rental. Skate rental also free with donation of a non-perishable food item. All on-ice participants must wear skates.

Trick or treating in Allen

City of Allen does not assign trick-or-treating dates, times or guidelines for the community. Allen Police and Allen Fire departments remind you to use safe trick-or-treat practices such as using flashlights for evening trips and avoiding open-flame candles or decorations.
