Investigator Michael Canon was promoted to Corporal during a ceremony on Oct. 19. He will transfer from Criminal Investigations to the Patrol Division. Congratulations to our newest Corporal.
Corporal Canon grew up in Washington Township, New Jersey. In 2011, he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a minor in sociology.
Corporal Canon moved to Texas in February 2015 where he was hired by Allen Police Department. During his time with the department, Canon has served in Patrol Services and Criminal Investigations, as well as SWAT Team Operator and Defensive Tactics Instructor.
