How to Participate

  1. Sign up for READsquared or log in to your existing account and select the current program for your age group.
  2. Reach 500 points by reading, completing special missions, or a combination of reading and missions.  Book points vary by program.
  3. Keep track of your reading and activities through the READsquared app.
  4. Log your reading and activities by January 10 to receive credit.

Need reading suggestions?  Our librarians love suggesting books!  Just fill out our Next Reads form for children, teens, or adults and get the suggested titles right in your inbox!  Book bundles are also available for the younger kiddos if you'd like a librarian to choose books for your child based on a theme of your choice.  Or if you'd rather choose your own books, visit our online reading lists for children, teens, and adults.

Win prizes!

Kids ages 0-17 will receive a prize bag based on age group containing goodies and your choice of book from our book cart.

Adults will receive a tote bag and coupon for a cookie from the Food for Thought Market & Cafe.  Adults will also receive a coupon for a free book from the Friends of the Library book sale.  Everyone who completes the Adult Winter Reading program will be entered for a chance to win a winter-themed mug and a $25 gift card from Watters Creek shopping center.
