City of Allen offices and facilities are closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Nov. 26. Thursday trash and recycling collection will slide to Friday. Friday collection is unchanged. Find your collection day

Allen Public Library will close at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24 and remain closed through Friday, Nov. 26. The library reopens at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27. 

Allen Parks and Recreation facilities are closed Nov. 25-26, with exception to Allen Community Ice Rink and The Edge Skate Park. See facility hours below.

• Allen Community Ice Rink is closed Nov. 25 and reopens for regular programming Nov. 26
• The Edge Skate Park is closed Nov. 25 and reopens on Nov. 26 from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
