City offices and facilities are closed for the Christmas holiday Friday, Dec. 24 and Monday, Dec. 27. Bulk trash collection will not occur Dec. 25 or Jan. 1. Bulk collection will resume on Jan. 8, 2022. No change to regular trash/recycling collection for the Christmas or New Year holiday.

Allen Public Library closes at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 23, and will remain closed through Monday, Dec. 27. The facility reopens at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28.

Allen Parks and Recreation facilities are closed Dec. 24-25, with exception to Allen Community Ice Rink, Allen Senior Recreation Center and The Edge Skate Park. See facility hours below.

• Allen Community Ice Rink is open Dec. 24 for regular programming and closed Dec. 25
• Allen Senior Recreation Center is closed Dec. 24-Dec. 27.
• The Edge Skate Park is open on Dec. 24 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and closed Dec. 25
