Did you place extra trash bags for collection after Christmas? If your extra bags appear to have been missed, it’s because many collections included oversized bags which were too big for the cart. These oversized bags also are too heavy to be thrown by CWD workers into the truck hopper.
Because this service is not automated pickup by the truck, please use 30-gallon trash bags when placing extra bags for collection.
Extra trash bag pickup (five bags maximum) is offered to Allen residents on their service day the week after Christmas. This is the first time we have experienced the issue with super-sized bags being used.
