[ARCHIVED] Trash not collected? For now, keep it where you left it!

Residents may experience a temporary delay in trash, recycling, yard waste or bulk collection due to a large number of CWD drivers who are out sick. Remaining drivers are currently working late into the evening and on Saturday to complete all routes. Please keep all trash, recycling, yard waste and bulk trash at your collection point until trucks arrive for pickup.

Bulk trash collection impact
Bulk trash collection on January 8 is scheduled to proceed as planned, with drivers collecting bulk waste from routes that would have typically been serviced on December 25 (Christmas Day), January 1 (New Year's Day) and Saturday, January 8. Depending on how quickly routes are completed, bulk pickup service may be delayed for some customers whose typical collection is scheduled for January 8, January 15, or January 22. If your bulky items are not collected, please leave them at your collection point until a CWD truck arrives.

Questions about missed collection?
If you believe your collection was missed altogether, call CWD at 972-392-9300 (option 2) to schedule a return visit. We appreciate your patience as CWD completes this big week of post-holiday collections with fewer drivers than usual!
