[ARCHIVED] Officer Graves earns Community Award from Allen Special Olympics Delegation

Officer Chance Graves speaks during his award acceptance

Allen Special Olympics Delegation (ASOD) honored Allen Police Officer Chance Graves during its 23rd Annual ‘Special Angels Among Us’ Benefit Auction Feb. 12. Officer Graves received the Community Award for his work with Special Olympics Texas.

Congratulations to Officer Graves on this successful community partnership!

Read the award recognition from Special Olympics Texas:
“If there is a community event involving Special Olympics athletes, you can guarantee Officer Graves is in the middle of it! Through his work at APD, Chance has supported Special Olympics for the past five years. He serves on the Law Enforcement Torch Run State Board, representing the North Region.

Over the past several years, Officer Graves has been an instrumental member of the ‘Special Angels Among Us’ auction committee—promoting the event, acquiring donations, and pretty much anything we ask of him! He also attends the various Special Olympics Texas fundraisers such as Tip a Cop and Breakfast with Champions. We are grateful for his enthusiasm and love for our athletes!”
