With a Winter Weather Advisory in effect through Thursday, the City of Allen is preparing for extended freezing temperatures and icy road conditions.
Closure information and service impacts
The City Hall campus, including Municipal Court, will reopen to the public at 8 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 25. Find information on other closures and service impacts at CityofAllen.org/Closures.
Road conditions and pre-treatment
City staff are working closely with Allen ISD to identify and treat any problematic streets or overpasses before start of school in the morning. City of Allen gives priority attention to bridges, intersections and main thoroughfares when preparing for potentially icy conditions. The City does not have the resources to treat all residential/neighborhood streets during snow and ice events.
