Classes meet Wednesdays and Fridays at Athlete Training and Health, 1110 Raintree Circle in Allen.
What to expect
Each 45-minute class starts at 6 a.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays. Expect a dynamic warmup and exercise demonstrations, followed by 30 minutes of metabolic conditioning, concluding with a cool down. Exercise regressions and progressions are included to make workouts easier or more difficult, ensuring you get the most out of each session.
There’s no equipment needed for APD Condition 6. The program is recommended for anyone looking to begin a physical fitness journey, change their routine or prepare for a physically demanding job. Allen Police Department has partnered with Athlete Training and Health to utilize their amazing outdoor field.
Meet the instructor: Officer Michael Delio, CRU
Officer Mike Delio is a physical fitness instructor with experience training police recruits. He holds a Tactical Strength & Conditioning Facilitator Certification through the National Strength & Conditioning Association and is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. Officer Delio is assigned to the Community Relations Unit and is a Tactical Medic in the Allen S.W.A.T. Team.
