[ARCHIVED] Allen Parks and Recreation hiring 70+ positions at upcoming job fair

Fast-track your job search at a "one-and-done" hiring event hosted by Allen Parks and Recreation. On-the-spot offers will be made for more than 70 part-time and seasonal jobs, including lifeguards* and head lifeguards, swim teaching assistants* and water safety instructors*, Camp STAR counselors, customer service/recreation specialists and seasonal maintenance workers. Positions marked by an asterisk (*) above are open to job seekers ages 16+. Most jobs require no prior experience!

Use the links above to apply for jobs online, then attend the hiring event on Saturday, April 16 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Allen Senior Recreation Center (451 St Mary Drive, Allen). Attendees will complete a brief interview; qualified applicants may be asked to complete a background check and drug test on-site.

Applicants MUST bring:

  • Drivers license or state photo I.D.
  • Social Security card -OR- certified birth certificate -OR- passport
  • A parent or guardian (for applicants ages 16-17 only) to authorize background check/drug screening
  • Two (2) letters of reference -OR- name and contact information for two (2) personal or professional references
