Allen, TX (July 15, 2022, 12:20 PM): Allen Police share vehicle, suspect description in Ridgeview Drive shooting
Allen Police are looking for information about a small white SUV or crossover vehicle believed to be involved in a shooting that happened on Ridgeview Drive on Tuesday, July 12.
The female victim was driving east on Ridgeview Drive near Stacy Road just before 2 p.m. when a vehicle pulled behind her and refused to pass. As the two cars approached the stop sign at Stacy Road, the suspect vehicle pulled beside her. The vehicle, described as a small white SUV or crossover vehicle, was driven by a dark-skinned man who she did not recognize. The victim then heard gunshots and quickly turned right on Stacy Road toward Watters Road, where she realized her window was shattered and her arm was bleeding. She stopped and flagged down help from a passerby who called 9-1-1. The victim was treated and released from the hospital.

Allen, TX (July 12, 2022, 4:20 PM): Allen Police are investigating a shooting that took place near Ridgeview Drive and West Stacy Road in Allen
At 1:52 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2022, Allen Police Officers were called to the area of West Stacy Road and North Watters Road, after reports of a driver being shot. When officers arrived, they contacted a woman with a gunshot wound to the left arm. Officers applied a tourniquet until Allen Firefighters/Paramedics arrived. Just prior to the shooting, the woman was driving near Ridgeview Drive and West Stacy Road. As she approached the intersection, a white passenger car or possibly a small white SUV drove along side and multiple gunshots were fired at her vehicle. One of the bullets struck the driver in the left forearm. The woman drove to the intersection of West Stacy Road and North Watters Road where she flagged down help. She was transported to a local area hospital, and her injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening.
The Allen Police Department is still investigating this incident.
