Allen Fire Department invites Allen ISD students to help spread awareness about fire prevention. Through Sept. 16, students in kindergarten through sixth grade can join our poster contest using this year’s Fire Prevention theme: Fire won’t wait. Plan your escape.
Some entries will be on display at Allen Public Library during Fire Prevention Week, Oct. 9-15!
All entries due to school offices: Friday, Sept. 16

Contest guidelines
- Size of poster limited to 8.5 inches x 11 inches
- Any medium can be used, including markers, paint, cut-outs, etc.
- Must focus on this year’s theme: Fire won’t wait. Plan your escape.
- Must be original artwork completed by student
- Please write student’s first and last name, name of school and grade level neatly on the back of each entry
- Limit one entry per student
Additional disclaimers
- All entries must contain full information and conform to size.
- Only individual work is judged (no group entries)
- Entries are judged based on message, creativity, originality and visual impact.
- Winners receive an Allen Fire Department goodie bag and trophy.
