City of Allen offices and facilities are closed or adjusting hours for the Labor Day holiday Sept. 4-5. Normal business hours resume Tuesday, Sept. 6. Monday trash collection moves to Tuesday, and so on, with all routes completed by Saturday, Sept. 10. 

Allen Public Library is closed Sunday, Sept. 4 and Monday, Sept. 5. The facility reopens at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6.

Allen Community Ice Rink hours (Sept. 4-5)

• Sunday, Sept. 4: Public Open Skate is 1 - 3 p.m. 
• Monday, Sept. 5: Public Open Skate is noon to 2 p.m.

Recreation facility hours (Monday, Sept. 5)

• Allen Senior Recreation Center: Closed
• Joe Farmer Recreation Center: Closed
• Don Rodenbaugh Natatorium: Open 1 - 6 p.m. 
• Ford Pool: Open 1 - 6 p.m.
• The Edge Skate Park: Open 8 a.m. - 11 p.m.
• The Edge Visitor Center: Closed
