City of Allen offices and facilities are closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25. Thursday trash collection moves to Friday, and Friday collection moves to Saturday. Find your collection day

Allen Public Library closures
Allen Public Library is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23, and closed Nov. 24-25 (no library materials due during this time). The library reopens at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26.

Allen Parks and Recreation closures
Most Parks and Recreation facilities are closed Nov. 24-25. The following facilities will adjust hours as follows:

• Allen Community Ice Rink is closed Thursday, Nov. 24 and reopens for regular programming on Friday, Nov. 25.
• The Edge Skate Park is closed Thursday, Nov. 24 and reopens on Friday, Nov. 25 from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Allen Municipal Court closures
Allen Municipal Court closed at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23 due to a sewer issue. Maintenance crews are working on repairs. The court will remain closed Nov. 24-25 for the Thanksgiving holiday. It will reopen on Monday, Nov. 28.
