Allen Police Officer Felix Cauhape has been honored by the Collin County Mental Health Symposium for his outstanding efforts helping and supporting citizens with mental health struggles.
During the symposium on November 17, Officer Cauhape received the CIT (Crisis Intervention Team) Officer of the Year award, recognizing his incredible work on several complex crisis intervention cases in the past year.
Through empathy and his ability to connect with citizens in crisis, Cauhape has touched the lives of everyone he has worked with, and his efforts have led to recovery and prevented tragedy.
Cauhape’s compassion and professionalism have been an invaluable asset to the Allen community and Allen Police Department, and he is well-deserving of this recognition.
