Historic Water Station
Allen's 1874 stone dam and railroad water station is located north of Exchange in Allen Station Park.

Construction of the interpretive trail through Allen's historic Houston and Texas Central Railway Water Station within Allen Station Park is now complete. Program elements include preservation of the existing historic features, including Allen’s 1873 Old Stone Dam and water tower foundations, interpretative trails and signage, overlooks, enhanced trail access, trail head improvements off of Cedar Drive and minor landscape improvements.

Phase III Development
Phase III development at the park had been planned to include a recreational lake. Initial conceptual plans for Phase III development included a recreational lake. Through a unique private-public venture between the City of Allen and America’s Cable Park Group, a privately funded, owned and operated state-of-the-art wakeboard park, Hydrous @ Allen Station, was constructed and is located in the southeast region of the park.

The Edge @ Allen Station Park
Constructed in 2005 on the south end of Allen Station Park, the Edge @ Allen Station Park features a 37,915-square-foot concrete skate park, two roller hockey rinks, BMX track and visitor center. Hours of operation for outdoor skate areas are from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. for all skate areas. BMX track hours are from 8 a.m. to dusk. Use of the outdoor amenities is free and open to the public.
