    Join us each morning (Monday – Thursday) on Facebook at 10:15 a.m. for virtual story times that focus on the five Every Child Ready to Read pre-reading practices: talking, reading, playing, singing and writing. No registration required. The virtual fall story time session will run Tuesday, September 8 – Thursday, November 19.

    Monday 10:15 – Together Time
    Recommended for ages 3-5 with their caregivers

    Tuesday 10:15 – Fun Ones & Twos
    Recommended for ages 1-2 with their caregivers

    Wednesday 10:15 – Baby & Me
    Recommended for parents with pre-walkers

    Thursday 10:15 – Together Time
    Recommended for ages 2 and up

    Dr. Clark Pomerleau, of the University of North Texas, discusses the events leading up to the passage of the 19th Amendment 100 years ago, granting women the right to vote. Learn about the origins of the suffrage movement from the Seneca Falls Convention in 1848 to the ways women campaigned for the vote in the decades that followed, including techniques that were considered shocking behavior for the time.
